PE jaw crusher — Stationary Crusher. Max. feed size ≤1200mm, Processing capacity 5-1100t/h, Motor power 15-280kW.
Widely used as the primary crusher in quarrying, mining, construction waste recycling and cement production. The PE series takes large feed material directly and covers a feed opening range from 250x400 mm to 1500x1800 mm. The PEX fine series is offered for finer primary and secondary duty.

The jaw crusher is a compression machine: rock is crushed between a fixed jaw and a moving jaw, and the eccentric shaft drives the moving jaw through a toggle plate. Material leaves through the discharge opening once it is smaller than the setting, so the setting controls the product size and the chamber geometry controls how evenly that product is graded.
The PE series is the primary stage of a crushing line. It is used in quarrying and aggregate production, in mining for iron, copper and gold ore ahead of grinding and beneficiation, in construction waste recycling, and for pre-crushing limestone, gypsum and clinker in cement, metallurgy and chemicals. Because it takes run-of-quarry rock directly, it is usually the machine that decides the throughput of everything downstream.
Selection starts with the largest lump in the feed. The max. feeding size column must be at least as large as that lump, and the feeder opening size tells you the mouth the material has to pass. The outlet adjusting size is the range the discharge setting can be moved through, and the capacity band is quoted per model - the real figure depends on the material, its grading and how the chamber is set, which is why a hard abrasive rock sits at the lower end and a softer one at the upper end. Motor power rises with the model because a larger chamber has to be driven at the same crushing frequency. Overall dimension matters for transport and for the foundation, not just for the drawing.
Before ordering, settle the rock type and its hardness and abrasiveness, the largest lump, the tonnage the line has to hold, the discharge size the next stage needs, and the power supply and foundation available on site. The PEX fine series listed separately below the PE models has a smaller opening and a much tighter outlet range, so it is the one to pick when the primary stage itself has to deliver a finer product.
