Basalt is processed by a crawler mobile crushing plant in Zambia at a nominal capacity of 120 t/h. The plant moves on a crawler undercarriage and is brought to the working area rather than erected on foundations. The mobile frame carries the feeding, crushing and conveying equipment as one unit.
Basalt is charged into the plant and broken in the crusher on board, and the conveyor removes the processed rock. The crawler mounting lets the plant be moved across the site during the works, so it can follow the working face. It was manufactured and supplied as a crawler plant by Shanghai DM Crusher. The whole plant is carried on the crawler frame, so no permanent base is needed on site.
