Basalt at 120 t/h is handled by this stationary crushing production line in Russia. The plant is a permanent, fixed installation with the equipment mounted on foundations and the whole train set out in one area. Basalt is hard and abrasive, so the flowsheet is arranged for dependable, even size reduction through the crushing stages rather than for a heavy single-stage duty.
Crushed material passes from the feed end along the line, is reduced in the successive stages and is then separated by the screens into the required fractions, with the earlier stage preparing the rock for the later reduction.
