Shanghai DM Crusher established its office in the Republic of Korea, extending the company network of locations to another market. The office is part of the same structure as the headquarters in Shanghai and the company other offices: a local point of contact for customers who buy, run and maintain crushing and screening equipment.
For a manufacturer, a local office changes the kind of support a customer receives. Equipment selection, questions about a chamber or a discharge setting, and the supply of original spare parts against the machine model are easier to handle when there is a team in the market. A buyer who runs a mobile crushing station or a stationary line does not want to wait across time zones for a routine answer, and an office shortens that distance.
The move fits the way the company has grown. Since its founding in 2007 it has built a production base, a large engineering group and an export network that now reaches customers in more than 130 countries and regions. Along the way it opened a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hong Kong and added offices in a growing list of markets. The office in Korea is another step on that same path, rather than a one-off.
What the office does is straightforward: represent the factory, keep the technical conversation close to the customer, and make sure that parts and service follow the machines that are already working in the market. For the manufacturer, that is the point of a local presence.
